Whuf! and double Whuf!we are certainly taking a large step. A certain omnipresence of being via media enhancement of the ego has broadened the concept of "Be Here Now" to virtually being everywhere all the time while essentially being here now. Lucky for us mortals that a feeling omnipresence does not require omnipotence.

Apathy is selected from a reinforcement history in which we come to see everyone as separate entities -- each serving a redundant role and function in the culture. The power of the group is subordinate to the individual and yet the individual offers no unique value. An alternative reinforcement history (like that provided for many through Young Judaea) shapes believing in the potential synergy of the group and the power of the individual's unique history to enable valued and inspiring contributions that transform the culture from passive consumerism and being a mere presence in current settings to active generativity and the transformative becoming of future possibilities.
